With the rapid development of the pipeline industry, there are more and more ways to connect pipelines. Do you know how many common plumbing methods you know? I'll show you the common plumbing method.
1. Thread connection
Threaded connections connect pipes and pipes, pipes and valves by internal and external threads. This connection is mainly used to connect steel pipes, copper pipes and high pressure pipes.
2. Welding connection
As the most traditional connection method, welding connection is also the most commonly used connection method in daily life. Its main feature is that the interface is strong and durable, and the sealing degree of the interface is high. It does not require constant maintenance. There are many common welding methods.
3. socket connections
In chemical piping, cast iron pipes for water delivery are mainly connected with sockets. The socket connection is suitable for cast iron pipes, ceramic pipes, plastic pipes, etc. It is mainly used for high-pressure water pipes.
4. Lots of connections
Adhesive joints use adhesives as bonding fillers to bond uniform pipes and fittings together to provide a seal. Adhesive connection has the advantages of simple structure and fast curing speed, and is widely used for drainage.
5. Flange connection
The flange connection fixes two pipes, pipe fittings or equipment on the flange plates respectively, then adds a flange gasket between the two flange plates, and finally adds bolts for the two flange plates. It is a removable joint, tightly integrated.
6. Pipe connector
The pipe joint is a new type of pipe connection device. It breaks through the traditional concept of connection. It uses stainless steel and rubber to make a component combination device to achieve sealing and pressure bearing functions. During the construction process, there is no need to do any processing on the pipe ends, as long as the joints are inserted. Tighten the side bolts on the two pipe ends to be connected, so that the clamping teeth will occlude and fix the end faces of the pipe ends, and the sealing sleeve and the pipe ends will fit tightly to achieve a tight sealing and locking state.
7. Groove connection
Groove connections are the treatment of annular grooves in pipe fittings and other components. The sleeve type quick joint is composed of clamp parts, rubber sealing rings and fasteners, etc., and covers the adjacent pipes when installed, and is covered with a rubber sealing ring of a special shape. It is connected with a split clamp and internally connected to the clamp The lip is seated in the groove and fastened with fasteners to ensure the sealing performance of the pipe. This connection method has the advantages of not damaging the galvanized layer of the steel pipe, fast construction, good sealing performance, and easy disassembly. It can be used in plumbing projects such as building water supply, fire water supply and produced water.
8. Ferrule connection
A method of connection in which the pipe is pressed against the pipe fitting with a jam nut and an open ferrule. Features: The card sleeve type pipe fitting has a short sealing surface, which is convenient and simple to install, and can be disassembled without special tools. Usually used in tap water and gas systems, specifications below 2632.
