Threaded and Socket Weld Steel Fitting, also known as Screwed and Socket Weld Steel Fitting can resist corrosion from caustic chemicals, corrosive fluids, oils, and gases, and withstand pressure and high temperatures in plumbing applications and food and dairy processing. Threaded pipe fittings are threaded on both connection ends. Female threads are on the inside of a fitting. Male threads are on the outside of a fitting and screw into the female threads. NPT (American National Standard Pipe Threads) and BSP (British Standard Pipe Threads) threads are distinguishable by their thread taper angle.
