Ductile iron pipe fittings should be handled with care during hoisting and transportation to protect the finished product. The pipeline is transported by extended car. In order to avoid damage to pipes and layers due to collision between pipes and pipes, pipes and car boxes during transportation, large wooden squares are used as cushions between cast iron pipes and car boxes, and wooden corrugations are used as spacers between cast iron pipes and pipes. The pipeline stacking site should be flat and spacious. When stacking, one row is horizontal and the other is vertical, and it should not exceed five layers at most.
1. After the cast iron pipe is transported to the construction site, the pipe installation can be carried out after the construction of the gravel cushion is completed. During construction and installation, a crane is used to lift the cast iron pipes from the stacking site to the pipe trench. When hoisting, the contact between the steel wire rope and the cast iron pipe is separated by waste rubber pads to protect the cast iron pipe and layer. The hoisting steel rope should be fastened firmly, the speed of lifting and lowering should not be too fast, and it should be handled with care to avoid falling and colliding with the pipeline.
2. Before pipeline installation and construction, use wire brushes, cotton gauze, etc. to carefully clean up the sediment and other foreign objects in the inner cavity of the socket and the outer surface of the socket end, and must not contain sediment, oil and other foreign objects.
3. After the pipe interface is cleaned, clean the rubber ring that comes with the pipe and pinch it into a heart shape or "8" shape and place it in the socket.
4. Carefully check whether the rubber ring is placed in the correct position. After it is accurate, tap it with a wooden hammer along the inner circumference of the nozzle to make the rubber ring placed in the groove of the socket.
5. After the apron is placed, use soapy water as a lubricant to fully wet the inner apron and the socket end of the socket to play a lubricating role, saving labor and reducing construction difficulty when installing the pipe socket.
6. When installing the ductile iron pipe, a tripod pole composed of seamless steel pipe, steel rope and hand hoist is used for a little lifting. The lifting height should be 5cm higher than the gravel soil cushion at the bottom of the cast iron pipe.
7. The center line of the socket and the socket pipe is aligned. At the end of the lifting pipe, use a crowbar (or a jack) to pry the cast iron pipe forward, insert the socket into the socket, and insert the two marked lines at the socket to insert the cast iron pipe. Until you can't see two lines, only the position of one line.
