Horizontal GRP Storage Tank
Horizontal GRP Storage Tanks are a kind of horizontally placed GRP Storage Tanks having cambers at both ends and saddles in the middle part. The wall thickness of Horizontal GRP Storage Tanks is 30% – 40% higher than that of Vertical GRP Storage Tanks. Filament cross winding is adopted for tank shell fabrication, thereby offering a higher shear strength. In places where saddle supports are placed, partially reinforced shall be provided in the radius direction. Horizontal GRP Storage Tanks are applicable to be placed indoors with height restrictions or on the top of buildings due to its lower height, simple operation and stable gravity center.
